ICMR has approved the Covid-19 home testing kit amid the second wave of Corona. Rapid antigen test technique will be used in the home kit. The ICMR has said that it should be used only by people who have symptoms of Corona or have come in contact with an infected person. At the same time, it has also been advised not to test again and again.
This could be a major step in the campaign against Corona. Now you can find the corona by sitting at home. For this, you will not need to go to the hospital or path lab immediately. In fact, ICMR i.e. Indian Council of Medical Research has approved the Corona Home Testing Kit, while also issuing an advisory about it.
When to use a rapid antigen test?
Home testing is only for symptomatic patients who have recently come in direct contact with a confirmed patient of Corona. Positive and negative reports will be available only through the mobile app.
